  But every body in Ghana knows he stood against his own party with regards to corruption.It the kind of person best as independent prosecutor.not anyone who would look the other way and his party loot left and right.

  Martin thinks NPP are fools, thank God they have shown him the door to his stupidity. I agree that this writer did not make sense either. He touched on the allegations of Nana having parked his government with his friends and cronies and could not cite one example to back his defense of the President. The truth is bitter but in that case Nana is worse than Mahama. It's early days yet but if how the NPP have started is anything to go by then 2020 will be interesting.

  That said, our sense is, most people who claim the "intellectual" mantle will recognize there are serious issues with appointment of a best friend for the SP position.
  
  It does not make sense!
  
  It sounds rotten!
  
  It will not engender cooperation from all corners.
  
  It is funky rotten - potentially a waste of funds, time, and justice!
  
  And when the "results" are announced, half of the people will never believe "the report", anyway.
  
  Let's hope Dr. Okoamp-Ahoofe will show us how one relates to the other on this one:

  Sorry but you were the first trumpeter of Mahama appointing from family and friends. When it comes to your brother it is right.. Your writings as always not objective but rather inward looking. Nana could also drop the two persons and go for some one very credible whose loyalty is not partisan but rather Ghanacentric. Remember when you live in a glass house you do not throw stones at others. The quality of support staff and logistics without interference will be critical to the work of whoever becomes the Special Prosecutor.. At least you have Ofori-Atta and Atta Akyea family members of the President plus other Akim and Asantes, you would have already written thesis.
  
  For me it does not matter, the important issue is competence, the person can even be the President's twin brother it does not matter what we need is results, after all are they not ghanaians, you see how the world is, you went round round about appointments of Northerners and Mahama's family. What was wrong if that was the case is same here..Remember usually you want to work with people you can trust and that is more important than family relatedness or ethnic background. You writings has to be a bit more balanced

  i have also read your thoughts with respect, but this I think you have lost it. how on earth can you and would you want to walk the way by smearing Amidu with the failures in the yaa naa case, At least if for nothing we have seen and experienced relative peace in Dagbon, if you don't have anything to say against Amidu ,shut up. Anpaw is got his strength and weaknesses, but he doesn't in anyway come near Amidu who was one time a running mate don't compare his credibility with Ampaw any day.
