It is sad--that in the 21st century-- with all these digital devices, a simple system cannot be developed to keep accurate tally of government vehicles.

The silence of Ayikoi Otoo is worrying especially when Ndc had come out saying they physically handed over 641 cars if we have to believe Ofosu Kwakye. Another Ndc bigwig, Sam George too had come out that Ndc actually handed over 370 cars physically after it sold 271 saloon cars to themselves from the 641 cars.

The only person who can tell us how many cars he physically received and signed for is not talking and it is very disheartening. We need to hear from Ayikoi Otoo to clear the air.

Secondly, as an Mop supporter, I am disappointed with the Communication Director at the Presidency who came out and told us the President is using his own car due to scarcity of cars at the Presidency. We told the electorates that this government is going to be different from that of Mahama, we don't need lies and propaganda,Ghanaians are not stupid for Arhin to tell us that lie.

In the first place, Akufo Addo is not an idiot to set up a task force to persue missing cars if there is no reason to do so; there must be a sort of malfeasance therein. And the fact Felix Kwaakye stated that 641 were handed over does not mean no car is missing.Moreso, the transition team has not stated anywhere that they accepted the figure that was quoted. What you guys should ask yourselves is the number of cars that was in the presidential pool. Fact is that the NDC are trying to be economical with the truth. They are not telling Ghanaians the exact number of cars that was at their disposal at the presidency. This has left the NPP in a quandary, hence the setting up of a task force to deal with the situation. Besides, the Ayikoi man is not an easy man. He is very meticulous, and I believe his silence is a strategy to get on top of issues before going public. Give him a briefing space, and don't forget we are dealing with syndicated tricksters and pathological criminals whose collective penchant to loot and share is of gargantuan proportion.

They forgot that they were dealing with the most corrupted people in the country. But the nation cannot lose over 200 cars on technicalities. I don't think the the CID and BNI cannot uncover the mystry surrounding the cars. It is unfortunate that the saga is overly policised. If all the cars have been handed over, where is the Ford that Mahama received from the Burkinabe and given to the state?

The Azure Manasseh report about the sighting of hundreds of vehicles at the flagstaff house after the handing over is damning and leaves a very sour taste in the mouth.
To be lied to by someone you consider to be a liar is no big deal but when you expect so much and you get disappointed it's very disheartening

MASSA KOFI, it's been quite a long time. Personally, I think NPP's handling of the "missing" State vehicles has been grossly irresponsible. Of course, in Ghana, each successive government accuses the last administration of 'stealing' State vehicles and properties. The NPP government must not undermine its credibility with false claims and half-truths.

The NPP has succeeded the NDC in government before. And on the backs of the experiences of 2001 and 2009, where some ex-Government ministers and officials were alleged to have been in possession of State vehicles, the NPP should have seen this coming. Why couldn't the NPP/Ayikoi Otoo team verify, locate and cross-check the vehicle inventory documents presented by the outgoing NDC administration? How difficult is that job?

And assuming that the outgoing NDC administration deliberately misled the incoming NPP officials with 'dodgy and inaccurate documents' contrary to the actual vehicles inherited, how difficult is it to summon the NDC officials who presented the inventory documents for questioning?

I'm sure the DVLA has data required to cross-check all documents on state vehicles assigned to each Government ministry and department in the country.

We have just heard people saying / doing all manner of things since the shoe went on the other foot. We have not heard him publicly denouncing some of the action/s of the hungry foodsoldiers. There are thieves in every political party in Ghana and all that is happening, if they are happening on the blind side of the president, then he could be pardoned. But what am reiterating is this, Nana may be incorruptible but there are people in his party who would want to make a capital gain of the ongoing brouhaha ie seek to buy new cars even though there are useable cars at the presidency so that the so called missing cars will end up in the custody of party foodsoldiers. That's the Ghanaian politrician for you

We are INCAPABLE of PRODUCING anything NEW!! WHY?? We spend our time in churches, assemblies, etc. HALF-listening to "Prosperity in exchange of BOUGHT olive oil" So reaping where we have NOT sowed is our ANSWER to the "Power Ministry", and prayers.
We do not spend our idle time thinking of what or how to create any new thing. So we will continue to steal State properties, resell land, and even cars and houses.

Btw, have you guys heard? They new nincompoops and stealers in town have allegedly just stolen the Indian National Youth Games emblem to be used for the Ghana@60 celebrations. Can someone confirm that it is just a spook emblem done by some mischievous NDC losers to discredit the NPP?
