  We all come from villages and started school by walking miles sometimes to cross rivers . Can't the rural dwellers per small contributions get a bamboo thatched building thru communal labour ??

  Don't wait for the central Govt
  Take initiative and start something then draw the attention of the civil society and govt to augment your efforts
  The assemblyman and the unit com shd take up the initiative

  Your response is riddled with reductionist arguments. So you went to school in the bush and think that everyone did. I think Akadu showed, contrary to your supposition, that rural people can think for themselves, else they wouldnt have raised the "KVIP school"as a problem. Read the poem carefully and you would see that the students are raising important questions. The other weak aspect of your take is your failure to locate the fact that our governments pay more attention to urban schools than rural ones. However framed, there is no justification for schools under trees, dilapidated schools, and this KVIP-premises school! Our govts buy cars as if it would solve the problems facing Ghanaians. In fact, he cost of One V8 car can solve the problem of two schools under trees. Let us stop the partisan politics and reason. I think Akadu has written a great reflective piece

  That KVIP that JHS pupil or students study in there was one of the 2000 Mahama administration claim it has built across Ghana and all schools under trees including the one that collapse to kill 6 innocent toddlers has been built and renovated and that minister is in parliament instead of him spending precious quality time in prison for claim against innocent toddlers.That criminal is filthy rich by stealing money for renovation and construction of school and innocent blood is in his hand.

Journalist and new broadcasters in Ghana spend too much time in writing and reading news bulleting. Americans call their presidents by their names without wasting time on their titles. President Obama, Donald Trump, Clinton...and onward they go. In Ghana/Africa: His Excellency, President, Nana Addo Danquah Addo Akufo, His Excellency, President Mobuto Sese Seku Kukubengu Wazabanga, his excellency, the vice president, Alhaji Dr. Mohamadu Bawumiah....I mean the airplane that took off in Kotoka would be in Kumasi, and these Cantata Comedians of new anchors will still be addressing chiefs and presidents with unnessasary accolades some couple of munites before the actual news broadcasting which, in actual sense, should not take a serious person some 5 or so munites to do so. The essence of time, which is the back bone of any developed nation doesn't mean shit to the peanut-brain Ghanaian journalist. God have mercy!
