It's a pity for a small group of people to bring the whole of Parliament into disrepute. It will be unfair if these people are left of the hook if their allegation is untrue. Tarnishing the reputation of any individual based on lies is slander. Such people are not fit to be in Parliament in the first place. It is a pity we have the indemnity clause that protects our presidents from inflicting pain on our dear nation. It is apparent that the past president turned a blind eye to all the stealing that went on in the country. This is what this few group of people want to defend even if it means making Parliament look bad to the whole world. We are all waiting patiently for the special prosecutor to be in place. At the same time we expect our existing law enforcement agencies to be up and doing in the fight against Corruption. Let us bring most of the thieves to book and ensure any stolen money is retrieved.
