In this case, Akufo-Addo won and Kwabena Agyepong who is alleged to have sabotaged Akufo-Addo lost. Only a fool in politics would try to appease his enemy with a ministerial post, and if Akufo-Addo attempted to appease Kwabena Agyapong with a ministerial post then I am sorry, he is a fool and not a serious politician. This is the Ghanaian canker of 'fama Nyame Syndrome.
No politician with a conviction of purpose would dare contemplate soothing a traitor. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah attempted to soothe his political enemies and he ended up in Conakry Guinea. The jury is still out on Akufo-Addo's administration and as such, I am holding a bated breath until the first 100 days in power before I give my verdict.
