Next time you apply for a new passport, your name will be correctly written. They won't write anything that sounds like Ewe name...

  Change your nationality if you have the chance. Things wouldn't be any better under this addministration given the fact that this uneducated thugs, the invincible force have succeeded in planting themselves at the passport office. Ghanaians are bracing themselves for one of the worst government so far in the history the nation. Rule of law would be a thing of the past and all the signs are pointing to that.

  Sometimes one doesn't if it intentonal or stupidity. It does happy to me when I spell my name AMMA it comes back with AMA. Maybe they can't see properly, just write what you see. Period

  They did the same to me and now I'm Osafo instead of Safo for the past 20years. I think us as Ghanaians take some things so lightly so I doubt it will ever change

  NOT ONLY PASSPORT OFFICE, BIRTH AND REGISTRY IS EVEN WORSE. THEY SIMPLY CANNOT COPY FROM A RIGHTLY FILLED FORM BUT ARE ALWAYS MAKING THOSE UNREASONABLE MISTAKES.

  I strongly believe that the corrupt way of employing folks to fill Government jobs is one big reason for such high display of ignorance or mediocrity or total incompetence.
  
  When our recruiters demand bribes and offer jobs to not the most competent but the highest bidder to grease their palms, what else could we expect? Nepotism and cronyism are eroding any advancement attained over the past generations in Ghana's general performance output, especially, where Education is paramount in deciding the qualitative level of productivity.
  
  We must be most concerned about ensuring appropriate quality is attached to our endeavors, all over. These errors, as the author mentioned, are some of the symptoms of our Educational degradation over the years. Many pieces of work produced by our Journalists also bear similar symptoms.
  
  It is time our Educators and Supervisors in various areas of performance took great interest in correcting this trend. Our Youths must be encouraged to be more efficient, accurate, and serious with attention to details.
  
  Long Live Ghana!!!
