I hope the president is well-advised that the destooled chief Nana Diawuo conspired with the Krachiwura Nana Besemuna (sp), John Gyamfi of Bank of Ghana, and seven others to steal 15 percent of the GHc 78 million compensation the Ghana Government has paid so far for the inundation of stool and other lands resulting from the construction of the Akosombo dam. The nefarious and corrupt behaviours of the destooled chief and his co-conspirators resulted in the affected communities being deprived of their birthright - allodial benefits from their ancestral lands for generations yet unborn. These community destabilizers took the huge sums of the monies paid by the Ghana Government for their benefit and that of their friends and family, political friends, and lawyers.
Are these the type of people the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo should associate with. If government eschews corruption and desires to protect the public purse, any recommendation coming from these thieves should be looked upon with scorn.
