Tawia Adamafio, Kofi Crabbe and Ako Adjei were tried and jailed. They were ministers in Nkrumah Governments. Surely the prison services must have a library ? Kindly use it

A lie when even deodorized still remains a lie, thus the lies that local quislings tell about Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah still remain lies because they are not true. Kwame it is on record that the very people who were in charge of the investigations into the bomb throwing were the people to arrested and tried Tawia Adamafio, Kofi Crabbe and Ako Adjei.
It became clear that Commissioner of Police Halley and Deku who were agents of western intelligence services planted the evidence against them to make CPP weak and to make President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah to fear his party members.
Kindly read this declassified document by the British intelligence services: "Recent information from Accra has indicated growing discontent with the rule of Nkrumah. The conviction among influential Ghanaians is growing that changes must and will be made.
Strong confirmation is provided in a recent report from the S.L.O. Accra of the conversation with Mr. Halley, head of the Ghana Special Branch. The later said that Nkrumah had become increasingly suspicious, irritable and unpredictable since the issue of Gbedemah's latest Manifesto, which called upon the police and armed forces to withdraw their allegiance to Nkrumah.
Mr. Halley implied that the police might in some circumstances withdraw their allegiance to the President. He added that the police wound remain loyal to Commissioner Madjitey as the army would be to General Otu.
Mr. Halley suggested one of the first changes would be to server Ghana's ties with the Communist block. Disilludionment with the Russians, the SLO reports, is becoming widespread. 3 November, 1962.
General Otu, Commissioner Halley and Deku became members of the military junta National Liberation Council which overthrew Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his CPP government. It continued: " British High Commissioner, Accra briefing paper (1 Oct 1961) for Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations, Duncan Sandy's visit to Ghana Development Aid "Despite the Commonwealth connection, our contribution to aid to Ghana's development since independence has been less than our aid in the same period, e.g. Yugoslavia. ..."On no single occasion have we ever supported an African state in a dispute with a European state- e.g. France vs Algeria nationalist, France atomic tests in Africa, the use of force by France to maintain their base at Biserta; support for Portugal at the UN and Portugal's colonial policies; Congo-UK connived with the UN against Cogolese nationalists, supported South Africa because of economic and other interests".
Kwame the ruse of democracy and freedom that the west use to declare unholy wars is just a mirage to lead people like you away from the real interest which is economical. Two of the reasons why Britain together with other secret services in the capitalist world including Israel overthrew Kwame Nkrumah was that the the Black Star Line and Ghana Airways have deprived them of air and sea services which were before that a monopoly of British companies
My name sake Kwame the first bomb was thrown at Kwame Nkrumah at his residence at Kokomlemle near the Nima drain in 1958 just a year after independence.
ASP James Annang it is on record that the British already in 1958 have the Preventive Protecting Act, The Prevention of Communism act and others. The second act was used to force Kwame Nkrumah to dismiss Dzenkle Dzewu and another communist from the Convention Peoples' Party before the British agreed to grant us independence. Similar laws are in all the countries of the world of which even United States of America can not be omitted.
It is on record that whiles Kwame Nkrumah imprisoned opposition members who were throwing bombs murdering and maiming school children the west physically eliminated its opponents both inside and international. A case in point in the U.S. was the murder of the members of the Black Panther in their sleep by an agent of the FIB. The murder Patrice Lumumba, Amilca Cabral, Mutarla Mohammed, Samora Micheal, Joe Slovo Slovo, Chris Hanney and other leaders of the African revolution are a case for us to study.
It is a fact that allover the world U.S. and her allies pay quislings who want to sell their countries for some few coins to overthrow their legally elected representatives with the myth of abuse of human rights, bribery and corruption.
The majority of our people even in he academia don't stop to ask themselves the question is paying one person to murder another not the highest form of bribery and corruption?
Annang the same laws are on the statute books of the U.S. and her allies. Some of you write as if Ghana is on Mars, lets all of us come down to Earth.

Kwame, I believe you are too young to really know what went wrong at that period.
The significant question is, who were the people throwing the bombs trying to kill Dr Nkrumah and his best friend Dr Ako-Adjei? The frank answer is the Mathemiho or the Opposition Party which is now the NPP.
Do not forget that it was through Dr Ako-Adjei and his family that brought Dr Nkrumah from the USA to London and then onward to the then Gold Coast. Dr Nkrumah became part of the Ako-Adjei family in La, Accra. It must be stated and emphasized that Dr Ako-Adjei who was the first Secretary General of the then UGCC offered this position to Dr Nkrumah. This was clearly accepted by all the then members of the UGCC.
The PDA was introduced to stop the Opposition Party throwing about those bombs. Those bombs unfortunately killed many innocent school children. Ask yourself if you have children yourself, should they deserve to die like fowls? Certainly NOT.
From this, please you also go back and read your history well.
Obviously, NPP now is trying to introduce Free Education in Ghana. But the fact still remains that the first person to do such in Ghana was Dr Nkrumah. Ghana had Free Education from Nursery right through to University. But after the bad deed by the Opposition party, which is now NPP, they abolished this system.
Most of the NPP people enjoyed the Free Education. Nana Addo, Kufour, Kotoka, Afrifa just to mention a few.

Every last one of the living Nkrumah-hating brigade, particularly those now enjoying shelter in the Americas and Western Europe, are the ones who enjoy safety and security in those countries because of Nkrumah era PDA-like laws but are as comfortable with current laws because those impacted are strangers and not from their preferred tribes.
But to me the shame of it all is the lack of logical thinking processes I expect from Ghanaians, especially Nkrumah-haters. Hitler's Germany is no more and the Germany that was destroyed has been rebuilt and is a leader in global economic powerhouse yet we find citizens of a freed Ghana continue to use open land to urinate or as toilet facilities, a Ghana with 80 percent of homes and commercial buildings without indoor plumbing and toilet facilities, Ghana without continuous electricity supply, without industry based economy, with unemployment numbers beyond reach, a Ghana reduced to a beggar nation status while our natural and mineral resources are depleted by foreign interests even as those Nkrumah-hating negroes think all that matters is that we can claim to be free. How free is any of us if we still carry slave chains around our brains? How sane is any of the Nkrumah-haters if they cannot explain why and how Germany could be where it is today relative to Ghana of today? Ghana, by any account has been in the hands of people who have been free to do everything thing our puppet masters wanted us to do including blindly copying and practicing systems of government in Ghana at an inferior level and yet Ghana remains destitute as it was that fateful day in 1966. Today, Nkrumah-haters talk about multi-party politics and yet there's none; what we have is nothing more than tribal contest between the Ashanti, Kyebi and remnants of the confused dumbos from the North NPP party vying against a collection of confused tribes flying the NDC banner. And if the Nkrumah-hating negroes believe Ghana has arrived since 1966 why are the leaders still taking shelter in the Diaspora and not in the Ghana they helped build to their specifications? If Ghana is successful and not the failed banana nation they brought us all why not come live and enjoy it?

And you are here talking about "horrors"?
If the "author needs a lesson in critical analysis", you, Kwadow, we would suggest, need a lesson in history, beyond coup plotter narratives. And take that at any scale/geography.
Yes, a good lesson in critical historicism!

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL HAD THIS TO SAY IN ITS JOURNAL IN 1983-
THE END OF A DREAM.
GHANA TWO DECADES AGO, THE AFRICAN PAVILLION WAS THE CENTRE PIECE OF THE NATIONAL TRADE FAIR, A MODERN EDIFICE THAT EPRESENTED THE ASPIRATIONS OF BLACK AFRICA AND DEVELOPING COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD.
TODAY, ITS ROOF HAS FALLEN IN,AND ITS
FOUNTAIN GATHERS MOLD.
GHANA WAS ONCE THE EDUCATIONAL CAPITAL OF BLACK AFRICA, AND ITS TRANSFORMED ECONOMY LEAD TO INDUSTRIALIZATION, BUT, ITS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WAS HALTED BY ARMED CRIMINALS IN MILITARY UNFORMS IN1966, AND TODAY ITS FACTORIES HAVE ALL BEEN ABANDONED AND TO SERVE AS BREEDING PLACES FOR RATS AND BIRDS.
WHAT WAS EVEN SAD WAS, THE SEMI-LITERATE COUP LEADERS WHO WERE SUPPORTED BY THE SO CALLED EDUCATED INCLUDING,KWAPONG, OFOSU APPIAH, BOAHENE, EVANS ANFOM AND OFORI ATTA,SAT ON TALKK SHOWS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE PREVENTIVE DETENTION ACT, FAILING TO KNOW OF THE ''PATRIOT ACT OF THE UNITED STATES,A DEMOCRATIC STATE OF THE WORLD,THAT ALSO HAD IT, AND FOR GOERGE BUSH JUNIOR, PRESIDENT OF AMERICA TO USE THE PATRIOT ACT TO DEATAIN AMERICANS AFTER THE 9/11 2001 IN THE COUNTRY.
AND TODAY, GHANA IS ECONOMIC BACKWARD,PLAGUED WITH BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION,MANIPULATION,EMBEZZLEMENT, STEALING OF STATE FUNDS,LOOTING OF STATE PROPERTIES,UNDERDEVELOPED AND HEAVILY INDEPTED POOR(HIPC)IN THE WORLD.
ARE THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS NOT ASHMAMED OF WHAT THEIR FATHERS; UNCLES AND RELATIVES DID TO GHANA.
NKKRUMAH WAS RIGHT IN HIS LAST BOOK-
DARK DAYS IN GHANA.
IT IS TIME FOR GHANAIANS TO QUESTION THEMSELVES WHETHER THESE ANTAGONISTS AND ANTI-ELEMEMTS WHOSE SONS AND DAUGHTERS ARE STILL INTETRESTED TO RUlE NATION WERE JUSTIFIED TO DESTROY THE LAND OF OUR BIRTH.
HISTORY WILL PROVE THEM WRONG FOR THE WRONG AND HARM THEY HAVE INFLICTED AND CONTINUE TO INFLICT ON THE PRESENT AND THE NEXT GENERATIONS.
LASTLY,THE FUTURE STILL HOLDS THE TREASURE FOR PROGRESSIVE PEOPLE WITH INNOVATIVE AND TECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS STILL WITH THE VISION AND PURPOSE TO TAKE HOLD OF THE DESTINY OF THE NATION.

Yes, it is good to write history to help those who never had the chance to know some of the wonderful histories of our nation. I just want to correct you that the one who announced the coup on the radio that day of 24 Febuary 1966 was General Ankrah and not General Kotoka.
He was the head of the NLC National Liberation Council. Kotoka was second in command of the junta, but was killed by Moses Yeboah on the 17 of April 1967 in a military coup detat led by S B Arthur, and was later found at the Airport Area.
Ankrah headed the junta till 1968. Afrifa took over after he had used the Nigerian business man NZERIBE in a bribery strategy to outwit Ankrah for the leadership. No wonder General Afrifa was killed many years later by the AFRC junta led by Rawlings due to his past dirty works against General Ankrah. ''The evil that men do lives after them''
In 1969 the junta work came to an end as the USA had agreed with them for an election. In that election the PP progress party won and was led by Kofi Abrefa Busia.

ASP JAMES ANNAN, THANK YOU, BUT FOR ONCE I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO REALLY WRITE A REJOINDER OR COMMENT TO SUCH A CONTRIBUTION. KWAME NKRUMAH! I WOULD HAVE WISHED WE WERE AT AN OPEN PUBLIC DISCUSSION OF A CONFERENCE TYPE FOR THAT MATTER AND PURPOSE. THAT BEING SAID, ASP ANNAN, KINDLY PERMIT ME TO STRONGLY OPINE THAT KWAME NKRUMAH FELL MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE PREVENTIVE DETENTION ACT AND HIS NAIVE AND IGNORANT EMBRACE OF COMMUNISM AND THE ATHEIST SOVIET REPUBLIC IN SUCH A TIME AS THAT. ASP ANNAN, CPP IN THE RUSSIAN ALPHABET MEANS SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC - SSR! HIS KNOWLEDGE OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS FAILED HIM THEN, AND THOSE WHO WOULD HAVE ADVISED HIM WERE ALL IN PRISON AT NSAWAM OR FLED THE MOTHERLAND FOR FEAR OF BEING ARRESTED FOR DARING OPPOSE HIM. ASP ANNAN, DO YOU REMEMBER THE YOUNG PIONEERS AND THE HUMILIATION TO RECALCITRANT PARENTS AND SCHOOL-MASTERS? WHAT AT ALL DID HE GO TO DO IN HANOI? HOW STRONG WAS GHANA THEN TO INTERFERE THAT FAR AT THAT TIME? KWAME KRUMAH MADE HEAVY INFRASTRUCTURE AND GAVE FREE TEXT BOOKS, YET THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH IN THE SAME WAY AS THE KWAME NKRUMAH INTERCHANGE AT CIRCLE - DUBAI - WAS NOT ENOUGH TO KEEP CORRUPT AND GREEDY PRESIDENT JOHN MAHAMA IN POWER AFTER 7 DECEMBER 2016 ELECTIONS. THERE IS MORE TO THE HUMAN CONDITION THAN INFRASCTRUCTURE. MOREOVER, ASP ANNAN, KWAME NKRUMAH, WHO WAS INVITED FROM ABROAD TO BE GENERAL SECRETARY FOR THE UGCC SEEKING FREEDOM FOR GHANA, BETRAYED HIS CO-FREEDOM FIGHTERS, IMPRISONED THEM AND MADE GHANAIANS BELIEVE HE WAS THE ONLY ONE CARING FOR FREEDOM AND JUSTICE FOR GHANA IN 1957. HEDZOLE BAABA, FEE DZE NKRUMAH, YOU REMEMBER, ASP! TOO YOUNG TO REMEMBER? THOSE LIES, LIKE THE SANHENDRIN-PAID-AND-SUPPORTED PROPAGANDA AND DENIAL OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS IN ITS TIME, STILL HOLDS IN GHANAIAN MINDS TODAY. KWAME NKRUMAH FELL BECAUSE HE BUILT HIS POLITICAL STRATEGY ON THE SAND OF THE IMMATURE POLITICAL AWARENESS OF THE CITIZENS AT THAT TIME. HE WAS UNDERSTANDABLY HAILED IN AFRICA, BUT TRUE GHANAIANS HAD DOUBTED HIS HIS CREDIBILITY AS A LEADER! THANKS, ALL THE SAME, ASP JAMES ANNAN, FOR YOUR ARTICLE!
