I am shocked to read the speaker of parliament is encouraging parliament to pass a law banning homosexuality. How stupid can this be. If he cares more for his pastoral duties, he should resign as a speaker and go back to his church and preach to his congregation. We did not support Nana for this dude to impose his anti gay beliefs on us. I am straight as can be, but this anti gay rhetoric in Ghana is getting out of hand. This level of intolerance is no different from the lynching of the woman in Kumasi recently for stealing. My gay neighbors in the US are as morally upright and educated like this speaker. What gives him the right to judge people's right to love? To Foh Amoaning, don't come screaming when some Ghanaians begin killing albinos to pacify their deities as done in other countries.

Sorry. What i meant is, that of course it would be nice to legalise gay action. But to ban it, does not bring anyone of us more jobs, or better income or less corruption.

I live in a country that has tried to accommodate others with different sexual orientation and that country is doing well. It not the speaker's duty to legislate sexual mores in Ghanaian society.
