  The demand by Nzema chiefs that the CEO of Ghana Gas must be an Nzema indigene is not only "dangerous" as you correctly stated, but as your illustrations show, totally stupid and senseless. It is this type of ethnocentric rationalisation of promoting their kinsman that saw a misguided retinue of chiefs insist on the appointment of Armah Kofi Buah on us as Energy Minister, when the former taxi driver didn't really understand the sector. Thank you, Nana for this good piece of advice.

  This is a fair and balanced view of the brouhaha engendered by the appointment of the CEO of Ghana Gas. I hope the new CEO, Dr Asante, will seriously consider the salient suggestions proffered in this article in order to assuage the fear and suspicions of the indigenes of the area.
