There is nothing wrong in eating with the fingers. Burgers, fried chicken , fries and a host of meals are consumed without utensils. He was over his head on this fufu issue.

No food is bad. What makes a food bad when it's prepared under unhygienic conditions. Fufu can't be bad once it's prepared under hygienic conditions.

Please let us stop deceiving our local people. It kills business, it discourages people to enjoy their delicacies. What scientific research has Otabil done to show that people die because of eating with their hands? When did Otabil start using cutlary sets? Please, please, Otabil should give us a break.

Fufu is a dish like any from around the world which will be modified by well meaning Africans, whether Chefs or otherwise, as is already being done by those of us living in the West or outside Africa who don't have access to the mortar and pestle this backward minded is talking about. Fufu powder is already available in Ghana which I use when I visit home or I can also use the raw ingredients which I can mash with water in my blender and knead in my microwave oven, also available in Ghana. So Mr out of touch Pastor you were completely off the mark on this one!

I understand where you guys are coming from but he was trying to make a point that culture is dynamic and as people we change our culture to match our current time in order to meet the international standards in everything we do. Ghanaians fear change, and that's why we are behind in everything.

Akans...in Ghana. Brong.Ahafo,Fante,Akyem, Sefwi,Ahanta, Akuapem,Akwammu,Wassa, Asante,Nzema,Aowin,Kwahu and a host of others.And in the Ivory Coast, Agni,Baoule,Sanwi and Chakosi.
Asante"s did not come up with the concept of Fufu. Never Ever! It is an Akan thing!
