The old age antagonism against Asian or Lebanese businesses as they are mostly described for some reason, have not been helpful in this case since they have not being in our good books.
Remember it was one of the grounds and reasons on which Rawlings justified his coup.So we have cause to dislike them some say they know how to tap our wealth at our expense and they take all our beautiful girls for that matter.
But I believe what happens has been exaggerated,it was more accidental that deliberate.Yes the woman's head was pushed which is an assault by itself and incidentally spill the pepper which got into the lady's eyes and rightly the police is dealing with it.
The national outcry seem to to me like an overkill where the police ministers,the labour department and the judiciary have all ganged up on this common Lebanese giving him more attention than he deserves and at the expense of ministers who should be doing more important things and leave this to law enforcement and the courts.
Otherwise we would be in danger of being accused of prejudice and xenophobia against foreign investment and foreigners which can be detrimental to say the least.

Journalist being nosy will approach all and sundry, hence a policy should be set up straight away for all connected to sign document, not to discuss issue with anyone, even their family members. Well in spite of all the brouhaha, there is always an incident that compels stakeholders to be involved. Lebanese, Syrians and Indians particularly have been seen to disrespect our people and our laws. They cut corners in whatever endeavour they are in. I have had several incidents with Indians who would rather bribe than to obey our laws. That is not to say it isn't done with the compliance of Ghanaians. People are awake with social media, and the impression is most of these foreigners are here to destroy Ghana by not paying taxes, flouting our laws and disrespecting workers and Ghanaians at large. The real showdown is yet to come and it will be big. My advice is for these foreigners to adhere to our laws, pay their taxes and be seen as players in our national economic drive.
