Why did it take her so long to announce the results, at one time saying there was a national undervoting and another time, sectional overvoting? Why did she have first to call Mahama that he had lost before publicly declaring the winner? Was it not was like seeking his permission before doing the unavoidable? If she had first called out the result openly nationally, wouldn't Mahama have seen it like anyone of us, including Nana Addo - and then Mahama would have done what he needed to do, conceding? As it was, did she call each of the presidential candidates individually too? What made her feel so obliging towards Mahama? Fear - the knowledge that the plot could not be implemented because of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary? Oh woman, chicken hearted woman! And corruptible. Do we commend the chairperson of the Electoral Commission? No, is my resounding response. Charlotte Osei deserves nothing more than a quick boot from the Chair. She was a person of a sick mind with diabolical intention to manipulate the election results to favor Mahama elected as President. It wasn't that she had a change of mind at any time during the election time to do the right thing. She, as we all observed, blatantly carried out her diabolical plan to the last second to see to it that Mahama was declared as the winner. Unfortunately, the truth came out and that forced her under the circumstance to announce the true results and to declare Nana as the officially declared the winner. So, for anyone to remotely suggest that Charlotte Osei deserves to be commended for the way she conducted the general election in a fair and truthful manner might be sick in mind. Charlotte deserves nothing of the kind. Instead, she deserves to be booted out of her post without any further delay because not only did she conduct the election unfairly, she showed her uncompromised affinity
