1.In politics we are far behind due to our past of bloody coups, flawed elections and politics of tribe rather than issues.
2. Education we have literacy rates lower than Kenya,Botswana,Lesotho,DRC,Tanzania , and Swaziland.
3.Economics - our economy is less diversified than the likes of Sudan,Kenya and Tanzania .Our per capita Income falls below top 15 african nations, our GDP is not even amongst top 10 in Africa and our debt to GDP ratio is far beyond healthy levels.
$ Health- our life expectancy at 62.4yrs is below that of fellow Africans like Kenya(65yrs) Ethiopia (65yrs)Senegal (66yrs) and even Rwanda at 67yrs.Infant mortality rates were lagging at number 137 by latest UN figures and our malaria infestation is still high. Our low spending on health is not good either.
All these areas we've been outdone by many african nations yet we close our eyes and say we've done well? I DON"T THINK SO.

Ghana"s GDP for the year 2015 was $37.543 billion, according to World Bank and IMF figures.where on earth does this writer gets his facts/figures from? Not even Kenya with her advanced tourist industry earned $10.5 billion dollars. The best they could muster was a tad under $900 million dollar. That is under one billion dollars. We have never ever crossed the 50 billion dollar threshold.Your GDP figures are risible and bogus!
