Because he has fraudulently amassed wealth at the expense of his congregants, he doesn't realise that every good thing comes after hard work. He should one day take a trip down the fields (farmlands) and see for himself the amount of hard work people put in before the salads and desserts and the drinks (expensive wines) finally arrive at his ill-gotten doorstep. We as a people (Africans in general) will continue to enjoy fufu till the end of time, whoever doesn't want it can go to hell!

That very Sunday of his sermon, Otabil got shot of what to preach on and the massive church congregants who all watching straight into his eyes and wanting to hear something special forced him to go outside the bible a bit. Repeating bible stories always can be boring sometimes, So Otabil only used this fufu talk to escaped the expectations of the church crowd. Fact is, Otabil parent liked fufu so much and young Otabil then, hated being called every evening to pound fufu.He was just voicing out his hatred about this pounding fufu business to date.

STILL TALKING ABOUT FUFU
We are talking about Koobi here but since you have brought the fufu issue I will dwell on it a bit.
Fufu science
Look about 90% of the digestion of starch/carbohydrates takes place in the mouth. That is where specialised body parts like the teeth, tongue, and the salivary glands are employed to do the job. This is the only place where the surface area of the fufu can be enlarged for effective biochemical reaction. Mind you, the surface area of the food can be enlarged when it is broken down into bits and pieces. What ever happens elsewhere in the alimentary canal is not as effective as what takes place in the mouth. For instance, if you chew the food, absorbtion of the sugar produced starts from the oesophagus, then in the stomach and the process continues and by the time the food gets elsewhere majority of the sugar is absorbed. If one swallows and sugar is formed elsewhere apart from the mouth, the absortion of sugar may not be effective and this explains why most faeces get fermented in the intestine.
Koobi science
Do you know why the so called proper koobi attracts flies. It is because because the fish is rotten. Remember the human body is not designed to feast on rotten food. If you know the biochemistry involved in rotting and its harmful effect on the body you wouldn't touch koobi, even, with a long stick. Do you know why it is advised that cooked food should not be kept in the refrigerator for more than four days yet this is a common mistake committed by most Ghanaians, especially university students and educated elites. I guess your eyes are now opening to see certain things now. A word to the wise is on GhanaWeb. Thanks.

You see, some people claim academic ingenuity, especially in Africa, but just book worms, with no gem brains to think through what they are about to say. You made blant naive comment in the public about a staple food eating from generations to generation. You might not know, but I knew my grand parent dying beyond 100years are die hard fufu eaters. Born again has become mere powerful men tools against the commoners as it was in the land of Judah. Authorities could choose who they can abuse or brutalised as they think they can. The savior king fought these kind of authority throughout His ministry setups. He had compassion for those who sin, as we all do day by day. For instance the title lion. Our old time religious had made Lion a devil symbol. Yet, the Savior Jesus was referred to Us a Lion of Judah, meaning the brave from Judah. We are African living in the Tropical zone and have to eat crops that grow here than eating crops grown elsewhere. We are put here for a purpose.
