It is pretty obvious that the party faithful have to be rewarded by putting them on the public payroll by hook or crook. After all the President's daughter has been appointed to an Art and Cultural quango so she will have a monthly pay cheque. Yet we are told the previous government exceeded its budget forecast and left a deficit never before heard of.
Was the national Cathedral a manifesto commitment? Yet the President flaunts his so called religious cloak as if God dwells in imposing buildings and not in the hearts of men. The finance minister quotes scripture to suggest that his so called Asempa budget is as sacrosanct as scripture.
The Minister for Information is only doing his master's bidding. He certainly has a conscience but it is one for sale.

If there will be any difference in corruption, then it will be the stance of President Akufo-Addo toward the act. President Mahama almost endorsed the corruption through his inactions. President Akufo-Addo may decide to be tough on the thieves who will be exposed in his administration. That will be the difference between the NDC government we just witnessed and the NPP government we are bracing ourselves to understand.

Some has calculated that the salaries alone of the 110 appointees amount to 60% of the whole civil service pay cheque. Other perks not included. We are in deep shit! Looting the kitty officially is not different from looting it unofficially.

He is only exhibiting his incompetence hence the huge size of his government. He holds the world record of the largest government in the world, yet he says he has inherited and ailing and bleeding ecnomy. to me the president lacks common sense and every moral right to look ghanians in the face and tell us to prepare for ' hard and tougher times' God will punish the npp and Nana Addo.
