I guess as a student you need to cross-check your facts before posting your views openly. Just note that the US is not art of the EU and neither has it appointed a Minister for Brexit. Perhaps you may be referring to U.K.

I agree with you. The writer did a good job by pulling all the arguments together in a very simplified way.
Referring to UK as US is pardonable and does not change the import of his writing.
