The problems confronting out educational sector is not free SHS system but more complex that that. What Ghanaians are interesting in is quality of education at all levels. Indiscipline of school teachers and their supervisors are among the few. We cannot ensure quality when it is free and when it is accessible by every one, it will not be affordable.

When capitation was increased, enrolment soared in basic schools.

Whilst schools like Adisadel and co were under pressure, many E schools and other lower category schools were undersurbscribed. it is obvious where the Adisadel spillovers will go to.

The issue is not one of capacity. it is simply and uneven skew in terms of subscription, depending on whether a school is prestigious or not.

Note though that in the recently ended WAEC excellence award, Wey Gey Hey was the only Grade A school that won an award..one out of four.

The other three were won by St. James Seminary and KASS.

Nowhere did the writer say that Adisadel is the best school in Ghana; he said that it is one of the best schools.
