Why can't we Ghanaians desist from praising our leaders when they are in office?

Akufo-Addo isn't different from the many leaders we've had before. If he will be better than them, we have to see that AFTER his term ends. Any praise of him can only be meaningful after the event.

Nothing he was in the past can be used to judge him as president. HE HAS NEVER BEEN A PRESIDENT BEFORE. He has no experience of being a president. He is only now trying at the over-ripe age of 72!

Let's see what he does before we bring out all those praise words!

I am saying this because the writer started very well, telling it as it is (as far as the Ghanaian attitude is concerned). But then in the latter part of his write up, he started describing Akufo Addo like Squealer would describe Napoleon. But with your simple but beautiful English, and your 'centre approach' (neither praising nor condemning Akufo Addo), you teach him how he should have ended his article. Job well done, bravo!
