These led to the creation of these NPP boys who admittedly are getting out of hands. Let NPP lose the next election to NDC and they will also come with their violent group. When the police cannot be trusted to be neutral then people will find ways to defend themselves. Nana Addo did not introduce vigilantes. It is the creation of Rawlings and his (P)NDC. Until we have a professional police force, not only Nduom must form his group but you must form your own as well. Ever heard of land guards? Yes, you will need your own else your piece of property will be taken away from you. What would have happened if these militias were not around for the election? Do you remember in 2012, in the heart of Accra, some people went to burn voting materials and no one was arrested? Survival is a human instinct and people will do everything to survive.

We can see how exceptions are creeping in and the broad categories under which brute force are being used by the armed wing of the NPP. The message of violence is being pumped relentlessly by those in power using democracy as a smokescreen.
