I remember we had this discussion including a private one and you denied your hatred for Rawlings and touted his "astuteness". Now, go back to the records and you'll find that it's a constitutional duty PAC to assure themselves of the patriotism of the nominees just as it happens in the US where you teach. It happened with JJR, JEAM and K4 nominees. Some even went to jail for non-disclosure or being less forthcoming.
I'm surprised you're an associate professor. Your arguments to not justify your professorship. But when I checked RateMyProfessor, it's clear from the comments of your students.

Learn from your compatriots like Kwaku Azar, Arthur Kennedy, et. al. who make valuable contributions without political bias even though they belong to one party or the other.
