What has been happening in this 4 months on a matter involving the 3MPs and the 1 ex-MP? Or is it another of those sweep under the carpet Ghanaian manouvers of sweeping things under the carpet?
HE Benjamin was doing Ghana and Ghanaians a favour by doing the "dirty job" of disclosure on the breach of governance and abuse of diplomatic passport privileges by our "honourable" MPs.

Mr. Amidu in all his past postings did the country a favour by trying to get as to the moral centre (obviously starting with his own, the NDC). However as most of us Ghanaians would rather be ostriches rather than face up to the truth he was maligned.
In this particuler posting he has once again demonstrated his sanitised rational mind to us all. Rather than sucking up to the corrupt parliamentarians and the ostriches of this land, he is again teaching us to be moral and reasonable citizens.
If Amidu traits through his postings is linked to jis being a "dog eater", then l would rather be a "dog eater" than join the ostriches of Ghanaland.
BTW aside from your veiled uncalled for and unsavoury ethnocentric jab towards honourable Amidu, take note dog meat is increasingly a delicacy sought after across Ghanaland, and not limited to a particular tribal group !

Is Amidu condemning the others because he is right in what he writes against them or does he think he can write against them so that he will win the minds of the majority less intelligent voters and that foolish minds of the British people thus becoming a president of Ghana in a NDC future government?
This condemnation by Amidu of the others who rightly placed the funny looking British clown Ambassador in his position means Amidu has foolishly forgotten the terrible atrocities committed against our dearest innocent people who were killed cold bloodedly in 1948. To be specific, they were Seageant Adjetey, a Ga, Corporal Attivor, an Ewe and Private Odartey Lamptey also a Ga.
In reality if the said British Ambassador is not a joker, not a clown and he is a normal person he would not have made much noise in the media if some MPs had misused their rights wrongly after he had informed the speaker of the parliament.
I believe if the Ambsaasdor has respect for us in relation to the national pain caused in our hearts concerning our above mentioned dead fellow citizens he and Amidu could have been wise not to make noise with overstaying of visas since such an issue could never and never be compared to the cold bloodedly killing of our dearest fellow citizens.
In short Amidu is a big disgrace to the Northerners and to Ghana as a whole in regard to this reaction of coming out to condemn his fellow Ghanaians who were expressing their displeasure of the way that british clown Ambassador handled the said overstaying visa issue. Amidu is a real slave minded fellow who isnt aware of himself on certain matters. Period

Who were those capturing slaves and selling them to the whiteman.Was it not these same whites who stopped the trade. Since the white stopped buying African slaves are we not still selling them. I tell you, if the Whites decide to resurrect the slave trade you would have seen the number of Africans who will offer themselves for sale. What about human sacrifice. Was it because the thieving NPP parliamentarians were guilty of the offence, and that he did not want to be seen offending them? You see, when you claim to be a crusader of justice, you must be seen to be even-handed. It appears that Martin is just waking up fro his slumber. It also appears that he and is more interested in zeroing his attacks on anybody and anything NDC; if it were not so, why did he devote more space and time in his write-up on Okujeto Ablakwa's comments, and just made a passing comment on Joe Osei Wusu who really attacked and made the most insulting statement on the issue? In fact, members of the NPP were the loudest in attacking and insulting the High Commissioner. The NPP are so untrustworthy, and yet Martin seems to have a soft spot for them. Remember the Vodafone bribery scandal which was exposed by their own then member of parliament in the person of PC Appiah Ofori? Each of their members of parliament, including the present day "Saint" Nana Akuffo Addo were reported to have received $5,000 bribe each in order to pass the cheap sale of Vodafone through parliament. Ghana paaa nie? Hmmmmmm.....

Didn't a British passport-holder who had committed murder gain entry into Ghana and stay here whilst he was being looked fr i the UK? Co-operation nd tactful problem-solving are required when diplomatic incudents arise between two countries. A man like you should not involve himself i the squabbles of bureaucrats who have firgotten their craft of diplomacy. Otherwise people will undoubtedly conclude that you want to ingratiate yourself with these bureaucrats for selfish reasons.

Jon Benjamin had no business taking the matter up with the Speaker of Parliament. He had no business lecturing us on the rules governing diplomatic passports, and what we should or should not be doing. we are a sovereign state, not a British colony. We make our own laws. Jon Benjamin must respect our Speker and Parliament.
He deserves all the harsh words he got. He had better learn not to get involved in our affairs.
