Some one should very quickly call me the insane and imbecilic nonentities, Francis Kwarteng and the self-named Prof Lungu to read this nicely written article from the gentleman Rockson Adofo.

Ghanaian soldiers doing wonders abroad in Mali, South Sudan and others. But see how armed robbery has terrorized our highway, market women whiles our men and women in the green uniform are comfortably relaxed at the various barracks. Can't imagine how galamsey should affect as that much with the shear impunity from foreign and local galamseyers. I will agree with the writer except to point out that (1) this NPP administration must recruit, equip and motivate 7,500 persons into police service and 2,500 persons into the army to squarely root out (a) galamseyers (b) armed robbers (c) needless chieftaincy conflict eg. Nkoya and Alavanyon, Bimbimla and else where.
Why? I can't and don't want to believe that a team of 120 army officers and 30 police officers cannot bring permanent peace into the Nkoya- Alavayon area and other conflict prone areas like the Bawku, Yendi and other areas in Ghana.
(2) The CPU or brain work or brain processing units of our security agencies are very and bastardly week. This include the Police, Army, Immigration, Customs, Prisons, BNI, EOCO etc etc. Why? All they do it to react to situations. This is bcos they have failed to recruit high calibre of professionals - still keep recruiting SHS people. The are so many very intelligent people with Masters and others professionals in our midst who should be recruited to help think through issues and to be proactive and respond appropriately to situations. I hope the parliament of Ghana will not sit aloof till another of their own is callously murder by some useless and rotten scoundrels over a mere toy called mobile (J B Danquah - RIP) Amazing nonsense of limitless degree. I hope the executive will not sit down mutely and watch the nation degenerate to a state of lawlessness.

By the way the level of filth and sanitation crises are all forms of lawlessness. Right in the midst of our national capital, regional and all towns and villages in Ghana is first and foremost characterised by filth. Our cities smells, Kumasi smells, Accra properly smells, Tamale smells, Takoradi smells, u name it. etc etc. It smells everywhere. To the extent that when I drink sachet of water and I fold the plastic and keep in my pocket to dispose of it when I get home, it becomes a war in my mind. How can you ever win the filth war when there are 1000s of plastic all over, what difference will ur 1 sachet make in this ocean of filth?

All the armed robbers were NDC die hard supporters. They are criminals and murderers. Why did we entertain and encourage such evil attitude in civil society.Bring back capital punishment for an eye for an eye.
