Every Ghanaian who is familiar with the history of political violence in the country knows that the first victim of such violence was a man called Yaw Baffoe, an NLM activist who was fatally stabbed by Twumasi Ankrah, a CPP activist in a drinking pub in Kumasi. Twumasi Ankrah was found guilty of murder and hanged. So you tell me, who was the originator of political violence in Ghana?
