  Poverty is not brought on by wealth hidden underground but the lack of foresight, wisdom and logical use of intellect. Ghana is poor by any measure, quantitative or qualitative. We have been intellectually bankrupt for over half a century and negligent with use of our brains. So while all the wealth lay beneath our feet, we have sold those presumed riches either to UK, USA, China and other nations even as we pretend to follow in the footsteps of the two democratic giants, UK and USA but refuse to learn, with understanding how each of those two nations got where they are. Americans love America and proud to me Americans. The British do same quite well while in Ghana, from our intellectual elite class to the ignorant folks, we love tribe over Ghana and thus never act in the interest of mother Ghana.
  From the Jim Crow era through Nixon and Vietnam, the Bushes and Obama to Trump Americans have not sold America to make one political party rich neither has the two party system in America seen one administration lay off or sack civil servants to make room for party footsoldiers. The British continue to run the Commonwealth not because they hate UK but continue to hold pride in knowing that countries and banana republics like Ghana can claim all the freedoms and independence we want but we still ask how high when we're asked to jump. Despite having a number of political leaders from the NPP and NDC claiming to be educated in America, UK and other nations, we continue to habor hatred for an era gone by and thus dismantled every infrastructural achievent of the CPP era never to replace or upgrade. Can anyone in the NDC or NPP name institutions and structures in the UK and or the USA dismantled by subsequent governments because of dislike for a Prime Minister or President respectively? Even Obanacare is being replaced with a proposed better and sustainable system. Yet because we are poor intellectually, literally and figuratively we have not seen the need to build roads like the Accra-Tema motorway anymore unless of course America donates money for us to do so. Are we not stupid, particularly the NPP folks who have and do continue to rail against the cost of the Accra-Tema motorway if America is funding roads in Accra to be built like the Accra-Tema road? We do not own and or manage government houses like Nkrumah era housing management or state owned operations yet there is not a single metropolitan area in America or UK where government, local or national, does not own or run/operate and continue to grow government houses. Ghana brand politicians pretend to love our farmers resorting to cheap farmer of the year awards while we do not guarantee farm commodity prices that is known to help farmers in the UK and the USA enjoy that which has led both nations to feed it's citizens with extras to donate to banana republics like Ghana. By the way do we not go on our knees to other nations to ask for help in digging up the riches buried beneath our feet; what good are the products coming out of our universities and or breed of our intellectual elite class? If the excuse is lack of government funding and or conducive environment for entrepreneurships should we not ask our government which not by coincidence or happenstance is made up of the same educated elite class? Being rich as a nation is a measure of life expectancy, societal structures of basic needs like electricity, water, indoor plumbing, drainage systems and medical care facilities, equipment and others but the most important of them all is having standards and enforcement mechanisms. Ghana is poor and it shows even if there are trillions of dollars burried beneath our feet.

  Those individuals must be arrested if found but they operate as corporate thieves so many hands are involved which makes it difficult to detect until there is a change of Government.

  Sorry but, I am going to be blunt. Ghana is not poor. We look poor because we have leaders that do not give a hoot about the country. All they think about is their selfish selves. Our leaders have 3 weaknesses. Cultivating power, pussy and wealth. They want power to control. Pussy to make them feel they still have it even though they hardly last 3 minutes and last but not least, amassing wealth they cannot spend in their life time or take with them in death. Give them the money and some of them will go as far as letting you screw their assholes. Why should a country like Ghana suffer? Be honest my fellow citizens. Our institutions are a complete mess, a failure and a sham. If you don't pay a bribe, you can't get pass the watchman. Getting a chance to peek at the CEO means your palms must be oiled. We live in a fantasy world. Everything is who can pay, know, tribe, political affiliation and, do you know who I am? How can a country prosper with such attitudes? Thievery is our number one career in trade seconded by corruption with the help of our traditional chiefs who are suppose to watch our backs. Take a look at the sheep dog and what it does for its herd. The son of a gun does not get paid but it makes sure all sheep are safe and accounted for. Can we say so about our Ghanaian leaders and politcians? Aisha knew before she got here that our leaders are morally weak. Nothing but pussy hunters who will sell their mothers for a piece of the stinking hole. It's high time Ghanaians wake up to smell our brewing sweet cocoa drink. Put politics aside, I have a feeling Nana was given to us for a reason. When God makes you go through 3 tribulations before He lets you through, my brothers, He has tested you and given the clearance. Make no mistake Nana for He will disown you if you go astray. Have faith in whats before you now, for He sure will expose and take away from Nana if he so disappoint or show any signs of fraud. Let's pray for Ghana for we need it now.
