He came back in the early 80's and the atrocities continued from where he and his posse left off. The culminated in the deaths of the

three high court judges and a retired Army major. Mob justice was instituted by Rawlings so why are we so outraged this. This chicken are just home to roost. Ghanaians is just hypocrates.

Initially, we were assured that he came to root out corruption & yet this remains a larger problem now than existed in 1979. When handing over power to the NPP, after the 2000 Election, the interest rate & inflation was over 40% and therefore, if President Mahama was judged to have performed poorly with interest rates over 20% what verdict should be given to Rawlings? Can someone please explain to me the positive achievements of the revolution & how after leading Ghana for 19 years, how the country has progressed & developed?

Whether you like it or not, Papa J's contribution to our Democracy can never be overlooked.Despite the pitfalls that were characterized by same elements parading our political front, He would continue to be remembered the Father of Democracy in Ghana even if Ex- President Koffour is considered the Best Democratic Leader.A country that does not honour her hero or heroine is not worth drying for and that is the wrong message we are likely to leave the generation yet unborn. The Founder of Ghana was said to be Uncircumcised after the overthrow. Junior Jesus became Junior Judas, The Gentle Giant became Waawaa and My Brothers And Sisters became Mr. Do Little. As for our current Ex-President may be you know. We need to motivate others by acknowledging the modest contribution made by each of us. It is a long journey and if the tenet of probity and accountability has been upheld, most of the atrocities committed against the State and the citizenry would have been avoided. Why should we have our Youth on the street hawking or galsmsaying and we waste State resources to chase them like criminals and end up embarrassing ourselves? Why should Institutions not allow to operate professionally and yet still expect Rule Of Law to work. What is the District Assembly Concept if problems at the District Level are unresolved? Why are the citizens not involved in resolving issued concerning them? Is that what Democracy is all about? You get their votes and put on your dark glass to distance yourself from them. You surround yourself with people who claim their Government is in Power and forget you are a Leader of Ghana. Are you waiting for them to enjoy free NHIS and Education at the time they can not give pocket money to their wife and children because they have been forced out of business considered illegal by Officialdom. Consult them in decision making else you would learn your lesson only when you are in opposition.To those who try to block unpleasant comment, they should allow the fools to be heard so that you know how foolish people think.Democracy thrives on tolerance. People of Ghana, can we rise up to abolish certain habbits and behaviors of our leaders who think everthing they say and do can be accepted by his citizens.No! It about time our leaders should hope the best for his people.If not so,then we going to lose the respect,love,care,unityand so on.
Sharing of blood,we think is a sign of sacrifice to our nation as a whole.But I ask,what benefits that it bring to a nation if innocent souls are being slaughtered out.
Our hope is in the hands of our leaders if we dont fight to gain it then,we would have a sad face beneath the sun .Fighting I mean,we need to order our steps right,making good choices to give to the citizens a better future.

Our leaders , and our institutions which are mandated with powers and authorities must come out with diligent , honest and true picture of every transaction in transparency , as a leader try and leave good legacy . The legacy Rawlings leave behind , you can dispute it , because when he came there was no money , but he's able to do his best , our laws must work vividly, we have laws , the laws dont work why? We have institutions put in place to work so we can move forward , but what do we see . The institutions have turn to white elephants , they dont performed the way they are spouse to performed . This led to a complete breakdown of law and order and the mess started there was total indiscipline in the whole Country. Therefore the least talk about June 4th the better. Officers who contracted Bank loans were painfully executed by firing squad while NDC politicians have amassed wealth Left,t right center with impunity.
