  My problem is that,why should irresponsible criminals assign captain Mahama with tax payers money wasted to protect Chinese criminals doing galamsey stealing our gold to enrich themselves while Ghanaians wallow in poverty and their drinking water poison and cocoa farms and forest destroy?I blame those who assign him to protect criminals with our tax money and not those killers.Those that assign him with the duty to protect criminals must face the law for protecting criminals is not nation duty.

  Captain Mahama's death. (May he Rest in Perfect Peace). What lessons? 1. Education on Human Rights shd be intensified on our radio and television stations, schools, churches, mosques, market places, etc. to prevent future mob actions or instant justice. 2. The police shd lift up their trust. Ghana police has the expertise to do great jobs, but people don't trust them bcos of bribery and corruption. There are several instances where people have regretted reporting criminals, suspects, cases at the police stations. 3. The court systems are too slow in dealing with cases that come to them. Some of the cases have clear evidence that shd have facilitated court proceedings but we hear of several adjournments, making the complainants or victims regret for taking a court action. The arrests :(my unprofessional views) Was there really an armed robbery case in the town prior to this tragic event? Then:1.The snail seller executed her civil responsibility by calling the Assemblyman, when she saw someone she didn't know with a gun. Every good citizen would do that. 2. The Assemblyman seriously erred by not calling the police or taking the Captain to the police station if he doubted his identity. He and the people he mobilised for the attack shd be held responsible. 3. It is hoped that all the people arrested will be properly screened so that the baby would not be thrown away with the bath water. Ghanaians are too curious, even when there is a gas explosion they still want to be there. Some people would definitely be at the crime scene out of curiosity. APPEAL: The GAF shd take it cool. This is a case of mistaken identity. In Ghana, soldiers are respected and held in high esteem. Nobody in his right frame of mind will ever dare to raise a hand against a military officer. All civilians are mourning with you. Condolences to wife and family.

THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF HAS TO ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS AS TO WHY THOSE SOLDIERS WERE DEPLOYED TO THAT AREA.

  Were the soldiers deployed to protect LEGAL MINERS or ILLEGAL MINERS? OR TO DRIVE AWAY LEGAL MINERS or ILLEGAL MINERS? OR to protect the forest reserve at the place? If so at the time the they were patrolling was there still mining activities whether legal or illegal taking place ? Again was the DCE made aware of the military presence in his area of jurisdiction? If no why? Had there been any formal introduction arranged by the CDS between the Captain and his army on one hand and the DCE and his inhabitants on the other? If no then that is the cause of the unfortunate situation if it was an orchestrated attempt to do away with him. But not the mistaken identity narration. MOREOVER why was the captain wieding a gun while jogging in a community perceived to be notorious. IT IS THE GUN THAT ACCIDENTALLY BETRAYED HIM IF THE MISTAKEN IDENTITY STORY IS THE TRUTH . THE CDS MUST EQUALLY BE HELD RESPONSIBLE .
