How come that as Ghanaians no one, not even the military hierarchy, ever told us any anti-galamsey task force by the military in Denkyira? There are so many inconsistencies in this case that I tend to believe somebody or some people are hiding something from us.

By the way, why should the soldier's relatives think he deserves a monument? can we provide monuments for all the people who are lynched in the country? Please don't start a class war. Yes people have been lynched before this incident but because they weren't connected to the political elite, no one heard their sufferings. Enough is enough.

Thanks for that write up,and let me also ask did the major and his solders not introduced themselves to the assemble man and others in the village to tell them the reason for their presence in the village,was that his first time to jog and some of his men would have gone out to jog with him.because one wants to keep fit,I understand he was in the village before he went back to Accra to write his exams so no body recognized him even on TV when he commanded the guard of honor for former President Mahama,in parliament.I remember when I was a nurse and was posted with others to a newly built health post in a certain village before we started work we all went to the chief of the village and he invited his elders and some decision makers in the village and we introduced our selves and the reason we were in the village before we began work so it will be surprising that they never saw him in the village and did not know who he was, even if he was arm robber as the clamed attacked by a mob the Assemble man should have stopped them and taken him to the police station but not to call people to lynch him in such a manner,lm sure many innocent people died through this callous behavior.the women who were even at the seen without taking part should be ashamed of them selves I cannot imagine how a mother can watch such a seen some with babies strapped to their backs,they were not crying for the late Major,they were crying for their husbands and sons who are in jail.No stone should be left unturned to get to the bottom of his death not only the village folks but within the Army.MAY YOUR GENTLE SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE MAXWELL AND MAY YOU NOT LET ANY ONE WHO HAS A HAND IN YOUR DEATH KNOW ANY PEACE. And that investigations are still ongoing to assetain the actual cause of his lynching? This type of nonsense is the reason why we are here as a country today. If this story is true,it means some negotiations were still ongoing between the military command and owners of confiscated galamsey equipments..I think the Assemblyman has met the officer more than once before the incident.His mobile fone can confirm how many times they've spoken together etc. The deceased officer fell into a planned ambushed ,l think.He was invited to the meeting at Dankyira Obuasi,to come alone,so he decided to arm himself.He refused to bend to their demands at the meeting place and left.They followed him closely to implement plan B (when he refuses their terms.) Unfortunately there were some who out of ignorance took part in the act, but were not part of the deal.The owners of the confiscated equipments must be of interest to the investigators as well.

The sad and unfortunate thing is that those who metted out this babaric and evil murder were just used to carry out the plan. The compensation to the ignorant and helpless family? Don't you think it is too charitably and unusual of the Npp and Nana Addo's government especially taking into consideration that this is not the first time such a death has occured in our security services? Could Major Mahama being a close relation to the former president and the fact that some people see him as a treat to this current administration have contributed to his untimely death? Hmmmm! Secondary odes are more emotional than logical and her call as a routine to her husband in the mornings when she wakes up may not follow a scientific sequence more so when eulogies are painted to compress a lot in a precis form.

We are in a generation and a society where the social media is being abused, but i don't the a thief will be caught and be beaten where someone will be covering it on video, knowing well that when it leaks, the faces which appeared will be traced.

In our society today, many innocent lives have been lost through this medium, all of them, their names didn't come out because they were

The late mahama mission at denkyira obuase can only be ascertained by the Assembly men, those whose equipment are seized the suspended DCE, and retrieve phone calls/ messages of the late mahama.

Now a write up could be done to make the late mahama look clean prior his death.

Also for national security reasons there must be a write up in favor of the military officer.
What ever decision he took to go out alone was masterminded by some people but he decided to be smart and fell into a designed trap.

From his wife's account , men don't usually give a straight account of their actions to wife or mother when they are embarking on some different move until they are successful.

But the final account is not really out but will be confirmed after the suspects and alleged killers confesses their account in court.

Nonetheless, my writer you can also offer yourself to help investigation to assist them to obtain the truth.
