  The one thing our slave master have that we do not seem to grasp is foresight. Let's face it, all the slave master wanted was natural and mineral resources from our continent and found our labour to come cheap and so they decided they could use cheap labour to build their economies. Our slave masters have had a history past that proved that the new might was no longer on the battlefield but economic power that comes from infrastructural development which by the way lead to discoveries and research.
  What we have in Ghana and all over Africa are tribes that cannot get beyond their presumed tribal battlefield superiorities and or hatred and past resentments?. In essence the thing that won over Africa and in Ghana is hypocrisy that has it's roots in our pride in meaningless tribal past events.
  A classical? case of what I am saying here is with the NPP. Yes the NPP which came from the ashes of the UP/matemeho dumbo party for over 60 plus years railed against government initiated and or investments in business?es and entrepreneurships?. In fact, Kufour did not honor the ignorant bunch we now call the big six because of the advocacy for government approach to development and what Nkrumah stood for but because of their simpleton approach to government which was to be against Nkrumah and for the individualism approach to acquisition of riches, power and exploits of the nation's natural and mineral resources; approach well learned from the exploits of the slave masters. Move forward to this Nana Akufo-Addo administration and history is showing Nkrumah to have enough smarts in his pinky than all of modern day NPP and their forefathers from the UP/matemeho dumbo party.
  Does it really make sense that the NPP that floats the idea of property seeking society, railed against Nkrumah's community property concepts and government operated industries is now the same government of negros? who is trying to spend a million dollars in each district for business startups while a few short years back helped Kufour to sell government owned properties? Where in all of these happenings do you not see hypocrisy that is driven by tribal folly and delusional tribal history? To my way of thinking, there is nothing standing in our capacity to self government but attachment to our tribal folly. In today's Ghana the Kyebi people, most from the Ashanti tribe and a few of the Dumbo clowns do not see anything wrong with the Nana Akufo-Addo NPP administration kicking and putting civil servants out of work only to lie about it or stealing by NPP functionaries even while proclaiming the NDC to be devil's for stealing as much as Kufour era NPP did. In yesteryear, the NDC did not see anything wrong when their membership engaged in stealing or mismanagement but now worry about an NPP turn to steal and mismanage the economy. So you see there is nothing we do that the master has not done or is not doing except the master did not have tribal exploits but racial exploits. We in Ghana and Africa continue to let hypocrisy, which is more potent than hatred, get the best of us.

True as you wrote, the dishonest African "intellectuals" with their colonial mentality have helped Africa and Africans to be in the crabs in a bucket situation. Let's take Nkrumah's suggested panacea and all the scales will drop from our eyes to get the required 20/20 vision.

  In my opinion most of your assertions are wholly based on either naivety or pure lack of in-depth knowledge about the effects of colonialism in the first place.
  
  YES! THE AFRICAN IS MORE THAN CAPABLE TO HANDLE ITS OWN AFFAIRS!!!

  All this was and is being achieved by means of the education systems they created. That system has brainwashed us till this present day into believing we are POOR - whilst we are literally sitting on gold.
  
  We in Africa have to come to the realization that the West does not want to see us develop and become as powerful. Period! If they did - can someone please explain the usual utterances by both the World Bank and IMF, (agents of the neo-colonialists) who in their own funny way, seem to support the idea of African developments.....by aiding us out of poverty? But at the same time, they attach unbearable and stringent conditions their loans to Africa.
  
  Do you really believe they do this to aid Africa out of poverty?
  
  All we get is RECOVERY PROGRAMS! AFTER RECOVERY PROGRAMS!HIPC and all that nonsense!(Please think deeply about it).
  
  Sadly, I must say you the author falls in this category of UNCLE TOMS. (NOTHING PERSONAL, PLEASE).
  
  The UNCLE TOMS left behind here in Africa, especially in Ghana have continually educated us and subjected our citizens to the conditioning of the colonialists language and way of life, which has been and still is detrimental and alien to our African'Being'.
  
  The UNCLE TOMS were rewarded with scholarships to study abroad and now extends to their children, up till this present day.
  
  Do you have any idea of the treatment dished out on our citizens under colonialization? I guess you don't have a clue and you will not easily find books written within that era, highlighting that.

Dont be foolish and allow them to exploit you again. The borrower is servant to the lender. I have never heard a white man say with conviction that black people are his equal. They think we are all poor and stupid. That we need them to run our lives. Africa is largely undeveloped. They will want to go there to make money. But with the high levels of coruption, they will buy the politicians and poverty will not improve. They are takers not givers,and africa should not envy the ways of her oppressor.
