WHAT'S GREAT ABOUT THIS PIECE??. EFFA DATEH HAS DEMONSTRATED HOW ARROGANT ND DISRESPECTFUL AND DISHONEST SOME OF OUR LAWYERS ARE. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT A CLIENT ON THAT DAY BUT WHAT DID HE QUIETELY DECIDE TO DO INSTEAD? HE CHOSE TO TAKE THE BIG MONEY AT AKROPONG AND THEN DISH THE CLIENT WHO HE WAS SCHEDULED TO REPRESENT IN COURT REPRESENT IN ACCRA! YES, THIS SHOWS HOW UNPROFESSIONAL NKRABEA EFFA DARTEH AND HIS MONEY MINDED LAWYERS ARE. OF COURSE, GEORGINA WOOD WAS CONCERNED THAT EFFA WOULD NOT DISCHARGE HIS PROFESSIONAL DUTY SO SHE DECIDED TO INCULCATE SOME SENSE OF DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY INTO EFFA BY INSIS TING THAT HE APPEAR IN COURT AS PLANNED. SHE FELT IT WAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO EDUCATE MORAL AND PROFESSIONAL IN EFFA AND SHE DID THAT IN A BEAUTIFUL MANNER AS EFFAH HAD NARRATED. OTHERWISE, THE ACCRA CLIENT WOULD HAVE GONE TO COURT BUT EFFAH WOULD NOT TURN UP. EFFAH WOULD NOT GIVE HIS CLIENT ANY PRIOR NOTICE OF HIS ABSENCE IN COURT ON THE DAY!! YES, THIS IS THE WAY MOST OF THE LAWYERS OPERATE IN OUR GHANA. BY SO DOING A SIMPLE CASE MAY TAKE YEARS DUE TO LAWYERS DISRESPECTING THEIR CLIENTS AND THE BENCH AND ARROGANTLY NOT ATTENDING COURT WHEN THEIR CASES ARE CALLED. DON'T FORGET JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED! EVEN WHEN THEY REUSED TO GO TO COURT IRRESPONSIBLY, THEY STILL CHARGE THEIR CLIENTS AND MANY JUST HANG ON TO CASES AS LONG AS THEY WANT IN ORDER TO CONTINUE MAKING EASY AND DIRTY MONEY FROM THEIR CLIENTS! OF COURSE YOU CAN BLAME THE MAGITRATES OR THE JUDGES BECAUSE THEY DON'T INSTITUTE THE CORRECT ACTIONS WHEN THE LAWYER REFUSED TO ATTENT COURT AS SCHEDULED WITHOUT PERMISSION. LAWYERS IN GHANA ARE LAW TO THEMSELVES AND IT NO DOUBT THAT NKRABEA EFFAH DATEH HAS DEMONSTRATED AND CONFIRMED MY PERCEPTION ABOUT THE IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER OF THEIR PARACTICE. SORRY THIS IS NO GOOD EXAMPLE TO WRITE HOME ABOUT, EFFAH. TIME YOU STOP TAKING YOUR CLIENTS FOR GRANTED. SHOW SOME LEVEL OF DESCENCY AND RESPECT. DON'T JUST TRADE YOUR PROFESSION FOR MONEY. DON'T FORGET, REALIBILITY, TRUST AND PROFESSIONALISM GO A LONG WAY IN LAW PRACTICE.
