How honourable are these 'Honourables'?

  Why do we call these ordinary citizens who take up positions to serve GHANAIANS as honourable?????? WHY?

  Don't we realize that we are basically putting them on pedestals they do not belong? And raising their egos to rub us, aid and assist them indirectly to indulge themselves in CORRUPT and deceitful practices??????
  
  And then we the same people turn round to call them corrupt; after we have turned them into 'tin-gods'.........ourselves.
  
  Are we for real, at all????
  
  I would suggest we strip them of those titles, till maybe they prove themselves, to our citizens.......then maybe......they could be honoured.
