IN FACT NANA WAS THINKING FOR MOST OF US ON THE STC SAGA ! WHEN THE SHAGARI GOVT. SENT GHANAIAN PARKING SOME TIMES BACK AND RAWLINGS ROLLED IN THE STC TO CONVEY GHANAIANS FROM NIGERIA, THAT DOUSED JOY OF SHAGARI AND THE COLONIAL MASTERS WHO SENT HIM TO DESTROY THE GHANAIAN REVOLUTION! WHEN I VISITED THE STC STATION AT CIRCLE AREA LATELY I WAS SCANDLIZED, THE NDC'S TOTAL NEGLECT OF THE STC IS CONDEMNABLE, EVEN WHEN THEY PLACED THE EVER EFFICIENT MR DONKOR AT THE HELM OF AFFAIRS THERE , THEY GAVE HIM NO SUPPORT! WELL, SOME PRIVATE RIVAL COMPANIES SPRUNG UP DOING MORE EFFICIENTLY WHAT THE GOVT. OF THE NDC COULD NOT DO! NOW WITHIN A TWINKLE OF AN EYE NANA AKOMEA GOT KUMASI ROAD WORKING AGAIN! WELL CLEAR SHOW OF WILL TO SUCCEED ? HE SURELY FELT THE INDIGNATION WE ALL FELT AT SEEING THE STC COLLAPSE SO BADLY!

Dear Fadi,truth is only one and not two.STC was revamped before Nana Akomea was appointed.My prefered choice of travelling was by STC and as at the latter part of last year the new buses were operational but with less coverage on some of the routes.I personally took interest in STC because like i said i use their services a lot.As at March 2017 i was assured that more buses were expected to augment their fleet. Much as i have a special admiration for Nana i think you are being political and lying because Nuamah Donkor the then MD had already started putting things in place.Listen i have this observation to make.Ghanaians by our attitude have caused most institutions to fail and unless we mend our ways nothing good will happen in this country.

The NDC under JJ "sold" this public company to an "acquaintance to Nana Konadu under a partnership scheme with SSNIT. This acquaintance never paid his part of the scheme yet was a big player perhaps fronting for Nana Konadu!
They bought used buses repainted to look new that never lasted.It never resurrected even through the Kuffour years, who also favoured the metro mass transit.
The Mahama administration cared less and the reason the private sector took advantage and moved in(VVIPs).
So this man's appointment is a lifeline into an ailing public transport company.It had not been so good prior!

but, u see, if your friends don't start taking credit a la half cast sas and all the others, what can they call their achievements 3.5 years hence? as for aboakyer, monkeys in a monkey sanctuary, a chief riding a palanquin, etc, they cannot reproduce 'em as their achievements, so this is why they must start taking credit for this now! having said this, i must emphasize that i wish Nana Akomeah (na) well, cos if he succeeds, Gh shall have made progress and, maybe, i shall benefit from it directly! so, na, take stc to a higher level than u met it in much the same way as jdm took infrastructural dev't to a higher level b4 exiting!
