They insult him there too. The only differences are that mordernghana strikes out certain insulting words and not many people comment on articles there, anyway.

I suspect he may have come back because he has seen that the traffic at modernghana is far less than that on ghanaweb. On modernghana, you can see the statistics on the articles you post yourself, specifically the hits. But the hits don't mean the article was read by whoever hit it. Many of the hits are also by yourself looking at your own articles again and again.

Ghanaweb may be full of s..t but it's by far the most popular Ghanaian portal worldwide. Joyonline is very good too but their more professional and won't tolerate Okoampa's daily fare of two or three articles or his rabidly tribalist and partisan tones.

Okoampa has his own blog. And he will see himself that nobody goes there...

So he comes back to ghanaweb. But I am not too sure of that, anyway. Perhaps this posting is an isolated mistake. It happened like that before.

I have also noticed that ghanaweb has changed the webmaster for the features page. The new guy splits articles into smaller paragraphs (good) but has stopped posting the by-lines at the bottom of articles including author emails (not too good).
