  This whole case reveals that Ghana's 1992 constitution is very pervious. How can the president receive a petition involving a sensitive officer like EC Boss and forward it CJ to determine whether there is a prima facie case? The CJ is appointed by the president and likely to suffer from a burden of gratitude if the former has an interest in the case. In all deep-rooted democracies such as USA and India, impeachment process is the core mandate of the law makers. 1992 constitution is a semblance for dictatorship.
