At the root of the Woyome saga is the fact that the Kufour government and Kufour as president went to China and offered the stadium renovation contract to the Chinese government agency without prior notification to Ghana parliament or parliamentary committee with oversight authority while a public bid process was in play and had passed the first phase of a contract award process.
In 2017, the team of Vice president Dr. Bawumia and Ken Ofori-Atta without statutory notice to parliament went to the USA and renegotiated the finance of a Mahama era loan even as Ken Ofori-Atta failed to disclose to the Ghanaian public prior connection between Ofori-Atta and the US financial outfit.

U were quick to rehash the faceless petition without providing Charlotte's responses. If u juxtaposed the faceless and incompetent petition with the detailed responses, u would realise that the petition was born out of malice. For instance, how could the submission of an estimate of ghc 1m for house renovation constitute a grounds for impeachment? Some sections of the media and friends of the faceless petition keep raising the abrogation of the contract with STL. What these blind ppl forget is that the original contract signed by her deputies was for abt $38m. Yet with Charlotte's intervention the final contract was $7m. The problem with the ec is the lack of clear corporate guidelines and respect for authority. A consultant must be hired to review the operations and come out with an operational manual that establishes clear lines of authority.
