  i do not agree with you as doctors are not trained to be managers but the health administrators are trained to mange health care institutions effectively. doctors can be made heads of dept in their specialized field like surgery etc. thatis why we have the mission hospitals doing better than the govt hospitals as these institutions are managed by the health administrators. the fact that they are drs does not mean they are also managers. you need to be trained.

  I don't believe Docotors are the only people need to manage the health industry.There are health professionals and management who train to manage health sector.For example Nurses with Bachelors degree scan train to be managerial if health sectors.etc.BSN(Bachelor of science nurse they are train for managerial purposes'therefore it doesn'tnecessary mean only medical practitioners are responsible for healthcare management and they don't have management skills anyway
