  Only your last paragraph really says something practical: there should be a thorough investigation by an impartial body. This is the only way we can get to the bottom of this thing. The impartial body must get to the bottom of the whole case and provide suggestions as to how the issue can be resolved.
  
  Then, people can give advice. As at now giving advice is too late and will fall on deaf ears, anyway.
