  Interesting. It's clearly something we are doing that's having these adverse effects. Culture..yes.Not sure relationship with our elders is the problem as many far east countries have similar structures. If ghanaians were banned from building walls around their homes and instead use the money to tar the road in front of their house. ....We'd be developed within 15 years. Thus maybe subtle cultural changes that will have immediate economic impact
