Coach Maxwell Konadu has officially been appointed head Coach of the Black Stars B team.
Konadu has been working as the first deputy Coach for the home-based Black Stars team with Kwesi Appiah acting as the head trainer for the side.
Ghanasportsonline.com’s sources reveal the Ghana Football Association have relieved Kwesi Appiah off his duties as head Coach of the Black Stars B team.
This is to allow him concentrate mainly on the team A who are expected to begin preparation for next week’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Congo.
The FA have therefore asked Konadu to officially take over as head Coach of the Black Stars B team.
The former Kotoko Coach received massive bashings after the Black Stars B team failed to qualify for the Championship of African Nations tournament following a 2-1 defeat at home to Burkina Faso.
The ex-Ghana international was criticized having been recognized by football enthusiasts as the main Coach for the side.
He will thus lead the team for next Month’s WAFU competition in Ghana.
