  Handball is one sporting activity that is very much neglected in Ghana. If handball is given equal preoccupation like football we will be able to compete and even beat countries like Egypt.

  Handball used to be a favourite sport in the Secondary schools of old times. When it became High school the game has completely been neglected. The reason for the neglect are as follows. All sports ministers and GFA bosses have concentrated only on football, thus killing all other sports incluing handball. Secondly those students in high schools are too young and their body mass cannot fit for handball. Something must be done.

  I don't think the high school kids are too young to play handball. All sports can be played at young levels and it's best to catch talent when they're young. The thing to do is to encourage handball in the basic schools and follow that up with play in secondary schools. It will be too late when they start only at university or when they enter the prisons service or police or army. Then they are too old.

HOW CAN A NATIONAL TEAM GO FOR A COMPETITION AND WHEN THEY RETURN, THEY ARE NOT PAID AND EVEN THEIR JERSEYS ARE BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM THEM AGAIN. AND WE SAY WE NEED SUPPORT.
