Former Ghana coach Avram Grant has blasted the Ghana Football Association, claiming that football in the country lacks direction. Grant was handed the opportunity to manage the Black Stars, but his reign can be best described as unfulfilling.
His last flop was a frustrating fourth place finish, to the dismay of 25 million Ghanaians, at the 2017 Afcon in Gabon.
Barely a month after the expiration of his contract he shared his thoughts on the team and the future.
"With these great talent at the youth level especially, they deserve a treatment in the highest level today.
"Key subject is about direction and policies and Ghana need to continue with the process that it started with.
"Germany is a typical example and in 2014 they won the World Cup because they paid much attention to policies and directions from the scratch," he added.
