The Black Stars thrashed second-tier side Askowa Deportivo 6-1 in a warm-up friendly game on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The game forms part of Ghana’s preparations for their Sunday’s 2019 AFCON qualifier against Ethiopia.
Jordan Ayww opened the scoring in the 23rd minute after he headed home from Samuel Sarfo’s assist, Majid Waris doubled Ghana’s lead in the 39th minute.
Deportivo reduced the deficit two minutes after the break, Waris restored Ghana’s two-goal lead four minutes later after he was put through on goal by Raphael Dwamena.
Dwamena scored Ghana’s fourth goal in the 65th minute, Waris scored his third goal and the Black Stars’ fifth goal four minutes later.
Late in the game, Dwamena grabbed his brace and the four-time African champions’ sixth goal.
