The Akufo-Addo government is the most-resourced administration in the history of Ghana, however, there is little to show for it, Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has said.
According to him, in just two years, the Akufo-Addo administration has borrowed GHS50 billion but there are no corresponding projects for Ghanaians.
Mr Ablakwa told the host of Ghana Yensom on Accra 100.5FM, Kwabena Prah Jnr. (The Don) on Thursday, 22 November that previous governments, especially the John Mahama administration, undertook several infrastructural projects from the loans it contracted, unlike the Akufo-Addo government.
“This government is the most-resourced government. In just two years, they have borrowed GHS50 billion but nothing to show for it: no schools have been built, no hospitals, roads, nothing to show for it. And, so, you ask yourself: what has been done with the loans?”
