‘Doctors in the Gap’ sets up medical volunteer base in Dwarf Islands

Dwarf Islands in Afram Plains district of the Eastern corridors is set to receive their share of quality health care from the international medical team who operate within the ambit of ‘Doctors in the Gap’ Volunteer Programme.

The team of over 120 medical professionals have set up a ‘medical volunteer’ base estimated to be the largest in Africa.

The international health care group ATI (formerly ARII) through the ‘Doctors in the Gap’ Volunteer Programme have from time to time provided quality health care to underprivileged communities within Ghana and across the continent.

The organisation as part of its mandate offers health care to masses who are unable to afford decent health services due to poverty and deprivation.

The programme has got doctors travelling from all over Africa to support this worthy mission.
