The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of New Life Homeopathic Clinic, Dr Mark Agyei has called on the government to roll homeopathic care on to the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
He said many Ghanaians have come to accept an alternative form of health treatment which includes homeopathy, therefore, it would go a long way to assist Ghanaians if their form of treatment is also included in the health scheme.
He said their doors were opened for deliberations into the area and called on all stakeholders to rally behind them as they also form part of the health delivery system in the country.
Dr Mark Agyei made this call in an interview with the media during the official opening of their ultra-modern four storey head office building in Dansoman.
New Life Homeopathic Clinic which specialises in treating chronic diseases like Stroke, Infertility, Prostate Disorders, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Premature Ejaculation, Erectile Dysfunctions and more has been in the existence for the past five years.
The new building comprises of an Out Patient Department (OPD), Consulting Rooms, Physiotherapy Unit, Laboratory, Scan, Conference Room, Lobby, Out Patients Wards for Male and Female, Canteen and many more.
The CEO advised Ghanaians to be careful with what they drink even if it is water saying “we should make sure the water is clean and nice and we should try as much as possible to avoid alcohol so that the body will be free from lungs cancer and liver Conditions”.
He urged them to also do regular medical check-ups so that they can possibly see the conditions before they get out of hands and also advised them to do regular exercise as exercise helps prevent a lot of medical conditions like Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and even heart conditions.
The hospital donated items worth GH?60,000 to about 100 widows and widowers during the Christmas as part of their Social Coorperate Responsibilities which the CEO does it annually.
