The National Health Students Association of Ghana (NAHSAG), under the leadership of Agyare Ernest, popularly known as Obama, organized a health summit on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

The event, which was held at the Ministry of Health, brought together a diverse group of student leaders from various health-related institutions to brainstorm ideas and strategies for combating health-related challenges.

The summit, themed "Visionary Leadership: Inspiring and Shaping the Future of Healthcare," had guest speakers from various health sector organizations, including the Ministry of Health, National Health Insurance Authority, Ghana Aids Commission, GETFund, and legal practitioners who discussed matters of law and ethics.

The primary objective of this gathering was to empower and inspire student leaders to assume roles in shaping the future of healthcare in Ghana.

Participants gained expertise through engaging presentations, interactive sessions, and discussions to drive positive change in the healthcare sector.

“The program's overwhelming success was evident in the feedback from participants, who expressed their utmost satisfaction and gratitude after being interviewed about their experience at the event.

“The summit's impact will undoubtedly be felt in the years to come, as these empowered student leaders go on to make a lasting difference in Ghana's healthcare landscape,” Obama said in a statement.
