NDC aspirant supports Kwanyako Health Centre

Mrs Bram Larbi, NDC aspiring parliamentary candidate for Agona East, has presented a cheque for GH¢ 20,000 to the chiefs and people of Agona Kwanyako towards expansion of the health centre.

The donation was in response to appeal made by Nana Ampim Darko V, Kwanyakohene at a durbar to climax the Annual Akambo festival at Agona Kwanyako

More than GH¢ 45,000 was realised at the function in aid of the health centre.

According to Mrs Larbi, affectionately called Maame Ahorbrase Efuah Ahwoi, health improvement is a priority when she gets the nod as member of parliament MP) for Agona East.

Mrs Larbi stated that she would never turn her back at the people in the area of developmental as MP.

She said that she is ever prepared to help give the needed face lift to the Agona East District to improve quality education, health sanitation, road and other social interventions,

According to Mrs Larbi who is also Philanthropist, her main objective to contest the primary is to serve the people in the district to improve the lot of the people.

She called on the chiefs, assembly members, opinion leaders, and social clubs and youth associations to give her the needed support to win the parliamentary primary.

Mrs Larbi urged the rank and file of the NDC to ensure peace and stability before, during and after the primary on November 21.

Nana Ampim Darko who is the Kiydomhene of Nyakrom Traditional Area appealed to the government to complete the national Identification project started by the previous government to resolve the dispute over foreigners in the voter register.

He said Ghanaians are expected to go to polls in 2016 elections in a peaceful manner and would not wish to witness any chaos and dispute after declaration of results.

Nana Ampim Darko urged government to ensure the implementation of the policy of Ministry of Education to enforce the use of Ghanaians languages at the basic school.

The Kwanyakohene asked the Agona East Assembly, central government, corporate bodies, and donors to facilitate the construction of new market to improve revenue mobilisation.
