NHIS debunks rumors of free dialysis policy suspension

The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) has refuted claims that the free dialysis initiative has been canceled.

Social media platforms were awash with rumors suggesting the suspension of the free dialysis program.

However, in a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the NHIS described the circulating claims as completely false.

The disclaimer stated, “The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) wishes to inform the general public that the circulating news about the suspension of the free dialysis policy under the NHIS benefits package is COMPLETELY FALSE and should be disregarded.

"We urge the public to disregard this misinformation and rely only on official communication from the NHIS or its authorized representatives.”
