Nineteen babies delivered on X'mas day

Tema, Dec. 26, GNA -- Nineteen mothers on Christmas day delivered their babies on the Christmas day at the Tema General Hospital. They babies were made up of eleven females and eight males, the Senior Staff Midwife in-charge of the Labour Ward, Ms Gladys Quarshie told the three of them were born through ceasarean section and the rest were normal deliveries.

Tema, Dec. 26, GNA -- Nineteen mothers on Christmas day delivered their babies on the Christmas day at the Tema General Hospital. They babies were made up of eleven females and eight males, the Senior Staff Midwife in-charge of the Labour Ward, Ms Gladys Quarshie told the three of them were born through ceasarean section and the rest were normal deliveries. Ms Quarshie said as at 12 midday of December 26 four babies, made up of three females and one male had been born but one baby did not survive and all the mothers were doing well.
