Nkwanta, July 24, GNA - Mr Kamil Mohammed, an optometrist in charge of Saint John Wilson Optical Centre at Hohoe, has said accommodative abnormality of the eye was very high among young people at Nkwanta. He said the abnormality translated into young people complaining of inability to read small prints. Mr Mohammed said this at a four-day free eye screening exercise sponsored by Sight Savers International for people in the area. Mr Mohammed attributed the cause of the "abnormality" to either hereditary or poor ocular hygiene and said they should seize every opportunity to check their sights. 24 July 07
